Programmes we run (pictures where possible)

  1. ACA Foundation elite tour – brings together elite female cricketers from different African to form a team that will participate in multiple tournaments throughout the year. African female players will have an opportunity to play with high-level female cricketers to help enhance the exposure of African’s female cricketers and provide a platform where they can contribute to their skills development.
  2. Leadership and SRHR Programme – this programme uses cricket sport to empower adolescents for underserved communities with Sexual Health education and develop their personal leadership skills like self-confidence, decision making and goal setting which would help them make informed decisions about their lives and bodies. The curriculum is also provided to elite female players of different countries for personal development and empowerment.
  3. Girls National Academy Programme – in collaboration with ICC member associations in Africa and Kookaburra, ACA Foundation will set up an HP cricket academy for girls ages between the ages 7 – 15? aimed at introducing and developing cricket skills for girls at a young age so as to enhance the quality of cricket skills in the age group cricket level for the member nation.

Physiology services for women’s tournaments – we provide a physio specialist for all ICC  and other international women’s tournaments in Africa to ensure that all female players have access to high-quality physio services for their physical well-being.
