On behalf of Africa Cricket Academy, It is my utmost pleasure to welcome you all to the Wanderers ladies Womens’ T10 Tournament 2021. It is an extraordinary moment of women’s cricket in Africa and I am honored to share this dream and walk this path with you all.
This tournament is the first of its kind in Africa. It will provide an opportunity for incredible female players from different parts of Africa to come together to showcase their skills to the world, share experiences, enjoy sportsmanship and celebrate the culmination of the hard work, commitment and learnings. Players, it is your chance to strive for excellence, build a continental synergy and contribute to the change you want to see in women’s cricket. As a female cricketer in Africa, it gives me extreme pride to be part of this revolution.
Finally, I would like to thank the tournament’s technical team for all the hard work put into making this tournament happen and our incredible partners/supporters/cricket federations for believing in the Africa Cricket Academy’s dream of advancing women’s cricket in Africa to the world class level.
